Metabo SRE 3185 Orbital Sander

The Metabo SRE 3185 is a third-sheet orbital sander taking 92 x 184 mm sanding sheets, driven by a 210 W motor at 8,800-22,300 orbits per minute. Metabo describes it as "a lightweight, handy sander with perfect ergonomics" that gives "an excellent sanding finish without scoring marks and grooves." Vario-Electronics let the operator set the orbital frequency to the material, and an aluminium die-cast bearing flange supports a clamping system that takes hook-and-loop or standard sanding paper. At 1.5 kg, with a non-slip soft-grip surface, a 4 m cable and low vibration, it also runs on a textile dust bag or a vacuum cleaner connection.
