Description
This INSIZE electronic tool setter checks cutting tool height against a reference of 100mm, reading to a graduation of 0.01mm with an accuracy of ±0.01mm over a 6.5mm working range. INSIZE states its test force is 5N at 100mm. As the tool approaches the set point a green LED lights and the setter beeps once; closer still, red and green LEDs blink together with a triple beep, giving an audible and visual warning before contact. It has a magnetic base and runs on two LR44 batteries, making it a quick way to reset tool offsets on a mill or CNC machine without watching the dial closely.
