Makita DUH651Z 18Vx2 Cordless Hedge Trimmer 650mm

The Makita DUH651 runs on two 18V LXT batteries (36V total) and carries a 650 mm blade with 36 mm tooth spacing, aimed at cutting thicker, more established hedges. Makita states the motor turns at up to 3,600 strokes a minute across a 6-speed dial, the rear handle rotates through five positions for comfort at different angles, and the trimmer has an electric brake with XPT water-resistance. Makita rates the noise level at 82 dB(A), which it describes as up to 30% quieter than a petrol trimmer. It weighs 4.7–5.5 kg with batteries fitted and is sold here as the bare tool, without battery or charger.
