Description

The INSIZE 4801-17 is a low-accuracy radius gauge covering a 1-7mm range, with 17 leaves from 1 to 7mm, mostly in 0.25-0.5mm steps. INSIZE states it is made of medium carbon steel. Each leaf is ground to a curved edge of one listed radius; holding a leaf's curve against a fillet, corner or rounded edge and checking for light passing underneath identifies the radius by trial fit, a quick check where a radius template or profile gauge is not available.
