Description

INSIZE's welding gauge, model 4850-1, is a stainless steel plate for checking fillet weld leg height and throat size on the shop floor. It reads leg height from 0-18mm and theoretical throat size from 2-12mm, both in 1mm steps to ±0.5mm accuracy. Throat size can also be checked directly against 4, 5, 6 and 7mm notches, while preparation angle is checked at 50° or 60° to ±1°, and plate thickness against 1.5, 2 and 3.5mm gauges to ±0.2mm.
