Insize 4840-1 Welding Gauge. INSIZE's welding gauge, model 4840-1, is a stainless steel tool with three scales, A, B and C, read through a transparent plastic reading line against an adjustable pointer. It checks crown height, leg height, throat size and preparation angle on a weld, graduated to 0.2mm with a stated accuracy of ±0.3mm across its scales. The body measures 103mm high and 50mm across, sized to sit flat against a fillet or butt weld while the pointer is read off the transparent scale.
