Description

The INSIZE 4851-1 is a stainless steel welding gauge for checking fillet and butt welds on site. It reads leg height from 0 to 20mm in 1mm steps to ±0.5mm, and crown height from 0 to 3mm to the same ±0.5mm accuracy, using a sliding pointer set against the weld face. A second scale gives the theoretical leg height for both convex and concave welds, again over 0 to 20mm in 1mm graduations at ±0.5mm. INSIZE sizes the gauge at 76 by 80mm, small enough to carry in a pocket for routine inspection of fillet weld legs and butt weld reinforcement.
