INSIZE 6537-450 Permanent Magnetic Chuck 450x200 mm. The INSIZE 6537-450 is a rectangular permanent magnetic chuck with a 450x200 mm table, holding a ferrous workpiece flat on a surface grinder or inspection table without mechanical clamps. INSIZE rates the holding force at 8 kgf per square centimetre and sets the pole pitch at 0.5+1.5 mm, a close, dense pattern that INSIZE says can hold thin and small workpieces that a coarser chuck would let slip. Parallelism between the top and bottom faces is held to 0.02 mm over a 300 mm span. The chuck is not hardened.
