Description

The INSIZE 4820-230 pitch gauge (low accuracy) is cut to the Unified 60° thread form used on UNC/UNF fasteners, with 30 leaves spanning 4-42 TPI (threads per inch). Made of medium carbon steel, each leaf carries its own TPI marking, so the gauge identifies an unmarked Unified thread by finding the leaf that seats into it without a gap. INSIZE builds the same range of pitch gauges to the metric and Whitworth standards under separate codes.
