Description

The INSIZE 4820-328 pitch gauge (low accuracy) identifies the pitch of a Whitworth 55° screw thread, holding 28 leaves that between them cover 4-62 TPI (threads per inch). Made of medium carbon steel, each leaf is stamped with its own TPI value, so it is matched against an unmarked bolt or nut until one leaf sits flush in the thread root. INSIZE builds the same style of gauge for metric, Unified and combined thread standards as separate codes in this range.
